Rustoleum Bed Lined My Entire Truck

So today I decided to Raptor line my entire truck. Its just bed liner made by Rustoleum but I think it looks great! Once it was dry I used the claw part of a hammer to see if I could scratch the finish off and to my surprise this stuff is tuff as nails! If you guys have an off road vehicle or just an older vehicle that needs alot of  body work you should consider using bed liner.

I purchased a gallon of bed liner from my local Walmart ($49.00) which is actually a lot more then you actually need to cover an entire full size truck. I used about 1/4 of the can and was able to apply 2 full coats.

I started by using just a basic 4″ paint roller to apply it. In my case I did it full sun and each coat only took about 15 minutes to dry to the point where you could run your hands across it and not get any on you.

I did some minor body work to it before hand as well as sanded it with 220 grit paper using a harbor freight orbital sander.

I recommend that if you decide to do this to your vehicle you purchase one of the herculiner guns from O’Reilly Auto Parts. They are currently $50.00 but they lay down the bed liner perfectly and consistently with just the exact texture you are looking for.
