My After Market LEDS Are Defective!

So today I was in my local Harbor Freight and when I returned to my truck I found one of the after market led tail lights was missing the clear cover.

You will notice from the pics that it does not appear as though the light was broken out by someone as there are no pieces left in the frame of the light.

It actually looks like the plastic cover fell out maybe somewhere on the highway. This really sucks because these lights were not cheap.

So needless to say I was forced to put my original factory tail lights back in ;-( Lucky I saved them. I had actually considered throwing them away.

Check out the pics below and comment on if you have ever seen anything like this happen to after market parts you have purchased.
